A District and Sessions Court in Islamabad on Saturday issued non-bailable arrest warrants (NBW) for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi for non-appearance in court in connection with a case.
Senior Civil Judge Abbas Shah heard the case. During the hearing, Chief Minister Sohail Afridi failed to appear in the court.
Due to his continued absence from the court, Judge Abbas Shah issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Sohail Afridi and directed relevant authorities to arrest him and produce him on the next date of hearing.
Later, the Court adjourned the hearing of the case till March 9, 2026.
The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) filed a case against the KP Chief Minister, Sohail Afridi, vide PECA Act.
