Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) President Muhayyuddin Wani would announce the names of office-bearers of hockey team management for the world cup qualifier, it was reported on Monday.
Sources told the 24News TV channel that Khawaja Junaid would be the team’s head coach, while Azfar Yaqub would be the assistant coach.
Similarly, they informed, Sultan Ashraf had been appointed as video analyst, while Arif Haleem would travel with the team as a physio.
Farrukh Atiq Khan would be the head of the contingent.
Led by Imad Shakeel Buttt, the players will meet with the PHF president in Islamabad before leaving for Egypt tomorrow to participate in the event.
The world cup qualifier will be held in Egyptian city of Alexandria from March 1 to March 7.
Hanan Shahid has not been included in the squad due to hamstring injury.
