‘I choose happiness’: Zara Noor Abbas reflects on life as she turns 35

Pakistani actress Zara Noor Abbas celebrated her 35th birthday with a heartfelt reflection on life and happiness while sharing a series of striking beachside photographs.

The actress, who also marked the special day with her husband Asad Siddiqui and their daughter, posted a thoughtful message about embracing happiness and personal growth.

In her note, Zara described the birthday as “Very different,” explaining that she has made important decisions for herself most notably choosing happiness as a conscious practice and commitment.

The khamoshi star wrote “I have always been big on birthdays and this birthday is very different for me. Because I have made some important decisions for myself. I have decided to be happy. Because this is a choice. A practice. It’s dedication.
And I have decided to dedicate happiness to myself.
I have decided to align myself with the universe and the nature. Since water is my primary element as a Pisces, I have decided to swim through the tides – whether rough or smooth. They are mine, after all.
I have decided fluidity. Dismiss rigidity.
I have decided to love myself more than ever. To celebrate myself more than ever. And let go off anything or anyone who makes me uncertain of myself.
I accept my responsibility to be the best version of myself. For myself.
I decide to seize the moment. Forget the past and never worry about the future. I decide to dream wildly.
And since death is a must ; so must be the life that should be lived.
Happy 35th to me.”

In her birthday message, Zara spoke about aligning herself with nature and embracing fluidity in life, noting that water is her “primary element” as a Pisces.

She wrote that she has chosen to let go of negativity, celebrate herself more openly and focus on living fully in the present.

The actress concluded the message with a simple yet powerful line wishing herself a happy 35th birthday while reaffirming her commitment to becoming the best version of herself.

Alongside the reflective caption, Zara shared images from a cinematic photoshoot set against a coastal backdrop.

The shoot blends high-fashion editorial aesthetics with a moody seaside atmosphere, featuring dramatic lighting and the natural beauty of the ocean.

In the photographs, Zara is seen standing along the shoreline and reclining on rugged rocks as waves crash nearby.

The golden-hour lighting casts a soft glow over the scene, while some images shift into striking black and white tones that enhance the dramatic mood.

For the shoot, the actress opted for a structured dark co-ord outfit consisting of a button-down shirt and a long skirt.

The heavier fabric of the outfit contrasts with the fluid motion of the water, creating a powerful visual effect.

Her styling further added to the oceanic theme.

Zara’s hair was styled in a wet look with loose waves, while her makeup featured shimmering eyeshadow, winged eyeliner and a soft nude lip.

Gold accents applied around her collarbone and neck added a mythic, almost sirencore” touch to the overall aesthetic.

She completed the look with statement gold rings, including one featuring a pearl that echoed the seaside setting.

Zara Noor Abbas is daughter of veteran actress Asma Abbas and niece of Legendary actress  Bushra Ansari.

Zara has worked in popular dramas like Zebaish, Khamoshi and Badshah Begum. She is married to fellow actor Asad Siddqui, nephew of Senior actor Adana Siddqui.
