India worried as Pakistan strengthens Middle East diplomacy

Pakistan’s growing diplomatic engagement in the Middle East has drawn concern from neighboring India, according to Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar. He said Islamabad is increasingly seen as a constructive force in efforts to ease regional tensions.

Speaking at a press conference in Islamabad, Tarar highlighted Pakistan’s active role in promoting dialogue and de-escalation amid ongoing regional conflicts. He said the international community has recognized the country’s diplomatic contributions.

Tarar credited Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff Syed Asim Munir for strengthening Pakistan’s position on the global stage. He noted that their leadership has enhanced Pakistan’s credibility in international forums.

He referred to recent diplomatic developments in Geneva, describing them as evidence of Pakistan’s growing influence. According to Tarar, these achievements have unsettled India, which is closely monitoring Islamabad’s expanding diplomatic footprint.

The minister emphasized that no political leader or party is above the nation. Criticism is a democratic right, he said, but the country’s dignity and national interests must always come first. Personal egos and political rivalries should never compromise Pakistan’s standing.

Tarar also warned against negative propaganda targeting the country. He urged that national goals take precedence over individual or political agendas.
