Iran missile strikes hit 17 targets in 7 Israeli cities, multiple injuries reported

Tensions in the Middle East escalated sharply after Iran launched a large-scale missile attack targeting multiple locations in Israel, according to regional reports. The strikes reportedly hit at least 17 sites across seven cities, triggering air raid sirens in major urban centers, including Tel Aviv.

Israeli emergency services confirmed that several people were injured in the city of Bnei Brak, where some of the missiles landed. Authorities said rescue teams were deployed promptly to affected areas, while residents were urged to remain in shelters amid fears of further attacks.

The escalation was not limited to Israel. Reports indicate that drone strikes also targeted parts of the Gulf region, including the Abu Dhabi, where a fire broke out at a gas facility following an explosion. Emergency crews managed to contain the blaze, but officials confirmed that at least 12 people were injured after a missile struck nearby.

In another reported incident, debris from a downed drone fell on a residential building in Bahri, injuring four individuals. The situation has raised concerns about the widening geographical scope of the conflict and its potential to destabilize multiple regions simultaneously.

Meanwhile, Iran has accused both Israel and the United States of carrying out continued airstrikes on its territory. Iranian media reported that key cities, including Tehran and Karaj, were subjected to heavy bombardment, though independent verification of the scale of damage remains limited.

Amid the escalating hostilities, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi criticized Washington’s policies, accusing the United States of duplicity. He claimed that while diplomatic messages were being conveyed to the American public, Iranian leadership was simultaneously being targeted.

“The international community must determine who is genuinely pursuing dialogue and who is engaging in acts of aggression,” the president said in a statement, calling for global attention to what he described as contradictory actions by the United States.
