Flight operations of various airlines showed signs of improvement as the majority of flights to Gulf countries departed and returned as per schedule after the ceasefire between the USA and Iran, it was reported on Monday.
According to airport sources, the number of flights to the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia has increased.
After Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Kuwait have also expanded their flight operations.
Airport sources further revealed that 25 flights were operated for Gulf countries from Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIA), Lahore.
As many as 28 flights departed from Jinnah International Airport (JIAP) in Karachi, 18 flights took off from Islamabad, and eight from Bacha Khan International Airport, Peshawar, and four flights departed from Quetta for Gulf countries.
Six flights departed from Multan International Airport and four from Faisalabad International Airport to different Gulf countries.
