Pakistan vows to continue diplomatic push for next round of US-Iran talks

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has reaffirmed its commitment to facilitating a second round of Iran-US negotiations.

A high-level meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, was attended by senior federal ministers and top officials.

During the meeting, officials discussed the situation following the recent extension of the Iran-US ceasefire.

It was agreed that Pakistan will continue its diplomatic efforts to ensure the next round of talks takes place, with Pakistani leadership scheduled to engage with Iranian counterparts today.

The meeting also welcomed the announcement by the US President regarding the ceasefire extension, emphasizing the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the region.
