Four year after her headline-making legal battle with Johnny Depp, Amber Heard has traded Hollywood chaos for quiet life in Spain – but mistake the calm for retirement.
Behind the scenes, there’s a comeback brewing.
According to RadarOnline, Heard “wants to make a splashy comeback” and has been “making all kinds of pitches.” The catch? It’s not landing the way she hoped.
“It’s not turning out the way she expected,” a source said. “It’s becoming frustrating for her… But she wants to go to the next step and make her own money, her own way.”
For now, she’s keeping things low-key in Madrid, raising her three children – daughter Oonagh and twins Agnes and Ocean – far from the noise that once surrounded her.
“She is focused on raising her daughter,” one source shared. “She spends every day with her girl… enjoy family time.”
Still, the spotlight has not completely dimmed. Earlier this year, Heard appeared in the documentary Silenced, which premiered at Sundance Film Festival. But she made it clear she is not looking to revisit old narratives.
“This is not about me,” she said. “I have lost my ability to speak. I am not here to tell my story. I don’t want to tell my story… I don’t want to use my voice anymore.”
Recently spotted vacationing in Cadaques just before turning 40, Heard looked… well, unbothered.
So what’s next? A full Hollywood return – or a quieter reinvention?
For now, she’s playing both sides: mom life in Spain, ambition still very much intact.
