Two civil judges posted in Lahore’s Model Town have been cleared of misconduct allegations after a departmental inquiry found no evidence to support the charges, it was reported on Monday.
According to details, the inquiry into the conduct of Civil Judges Shabbir Hussain and Nabeel Hussain Kahloon has been formally concluded, with authorities declaring the allegations unsubstantiated.
An official notification issued by the registrar’s office confirmed that the Lahore High Court had exonerated both judges, bringing the proceedings to a close.
The inquiry, initiated in 2025, failed to establish any wrongdoing against the judicial officers, the notification said.
The decision was taken with the approval of the Chief Justice and members of the High Court’s administrative committee, who endorsed the closure of the case after reviewing the findings.
