Shafqat Ali Khan, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, reaffirmed the deep-rooted and multifaceted relationship between Pakistan and the UAE, describing it as a bond built on brotherhood, mutual trust, and shared interests. He emphasized that the well-being of the Pakistani community remains a top priority for the mission.
He made these remarks during a reception held in Abu Dhabi, organized by Vista Maritime in his honor. The event brought together members of the Pakistani diaspora, business leaders, and community representatives, creating an opportunity for meaningful engagement.
Ambassador Khan noted that such gatherings play an important role in strengthening ties with overseas Pakistanis. He highlighted that the relationship between Pakistan and United Arab Emirates spans more than five decades and continues to grow across multiple sectors, including trade, investment, and people-to-people connections.
He also praised the Pakistani community in the UAE for demonstrating unity, responsibility, and resilience during recent challenging times. According to him, their conduct reflects a strong sense of belonging and respect for their host country.
The ambassador further commended the visionary leadership of the UAE for fostering an inclusive and progressive environment that supports expatriate communities and strengthens bilateral cooperation.
He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to further enhancing collaboration with the UAE while ensuring continued support and services for Pakistani nationals living abroad.
