Apple Inc. has enabled 5G connectivity on supported iPhones in Pakistan through a latest iOS update, marking a key step in the country’s evolving telecom landscape.

According to telecom sources, iPhone models starting from the iPhone 12 Pro Max and above will now support 5G services following the update.

With this development, users will be able to access 5G services offered by local operators including Zong and Jazz, subject to network availability.

Industry experts say the move represents significant progress in Pakistan’s 5G ecosystem, paving the way for faster internet speeds and improved digital experiences.

The activation of 5G on iPhones is expected to enhance streaming quality, online gaming performance and business connectivity, particularly for users relying on mobile broadband.
