Speaking in a television interview, the 57-year-old actor said he was surprised to hear the claims circulating on social media and dismissed them as completely false.
He said he was shown screenshots of the rumours by a friend and expressed frustration over misleading online content, suggesting that many such stories are fabricated without basis.
Bobby Deol emphasized that there was no conflict with Alia Bhatt during the film’s production. He praised her professionalism and acting skills, calling her hardworking and well-prepared for her role.
He also clarified that he shares a positive working relationship with the cast, including co-stars from the YRF Spy Universe project.
The actor further addressed speculation that he had issues with the film’s production team, including reports of disagreements with producer Aditya Chopra. He firmly rejected these claims as untrue.
Bobby Deol added that a large portion of content shared on social media platforms, especially Instagram, is unreliable and often misleading.
He also recalled his experience working with fellow actor Ranbir Kapoor in Animal, saying he enjoyed collaborating with him and was equally pleased to work alongside Alia Bhatt in Alpha.
Directed by Shiv Rawail, Alpha is part of the expanding YRF Spy Universe and features an ensemble cast including Alia Bhatt, Bobby Deol, Sharvari, and Anil Kapoor.
The film is scheduled for theatrical release on 10 July, while Bobby Deol’s other project Bandar is set to release earlier on 5 June.
Despite ongoing online speculation, the actor’s comments aim to put an end to rumours and reaffirm a smooth working environment on set.
