Pakistani actress Alizeh Shah has drawn attention to the growing dangers of artificial intelligence and the risks associated with sharing children’s photos on social media. Using her platform to raise awareness, the actress urged parents to think twice before posting personal content online.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Alizeh shared a series of posts highlighting how rapidly advancing AI technology can be misused against children whose photos and videos are publicly available on the internet.
In one of the stories, she reposted a powerful awareness video accompanied by the caption: “This is why you don’t just share everything online. The video here is one of the most powerful AI awareness campaigns ever made.”
She further added: “Pls be careful … this is scary as hell.”
The video sheds light on the hidden risks behind seemingly innocent family photos shared online. It demonstrates how publicly available images can be exploited by malicious individuals to clone a child’s voice, create convincing scams, steal identities, damage credit profiles, or even generate disturbing non-consensual deep fake content.
By sharing the campaign, Alizeh emphasized the importance of digital privacy and online safety, particularly when it comes to children. The actress cautioned parents against excessive online sharing often referred to as “sharenting” and encouraged greater awareness about the long term consequences of making personal information publicly accessible.
