Six most wanted terrorists killed in Dir

In a joint operation of the district police and the anti-terrorism force in the Lower Dir area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, six most wanted terrorists were gunned down, it was reported on Wednesday.

All these terrorists were involved in an attack on the Budwan Police post in which a police constable, Mohammad Ismail, was martyred.

The dead terrorists were later identified as Khalilur Rehman alias Saddam, Najamuddin alias Abu Jana, and Kifayatullah, while the identities of other terrorists were still being investigated.

The law enforcement agencies also recovered six Kalashnikovs and three hand grenades from their possession.

A search operation is underway to arrest the terrorist.

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Peshawar and the Inspector-General of the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) appreciated the outstanding performance of law enforcement agencies.

Mohsin Naqvi lauds LEAs for successful operation

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi lauded the law-enforcement agencies (LEAs) for conducting a successful operation against Khawarij in which six terrorists were killed.

Mohsin Naqvi paid glowing tributes to law enforcement agencies for sending all the terrorists to hell.

He said that the timely action of CTD Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the police foiled the nefarious designs of terrorists.
