KARACHI: The benchmark KSE-100 index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange posted strong gains during the week, rising 3.22 percent.
The PSX 100 index surged by 5,800 points over the week to close at 185,372 points.
During the trading week, the index moved within a band of 7,559 points, reflecting significant market activity and investor interest.
A total of 4.32 billion shares were traded during the week, with transactions worth Rs238 billion recorded in the market.
Meanwhile, market capitalization increased by Rs628 billion over the week, reaching Rs20,762 billion.
