Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah Wednesday called on Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir at the General Headquarters, the military’s media wing said.
The Kuwaiti foreign minister was accompanied by Kuwait’s Ambassador to Pakistan Nassar Abdul Rahman J. Al-Mutairi.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations, the two sides discussed matters of mutual interest, regional security and measures to further strengthen bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Kuwait.
The visiting foreign minister appreciated Pakistan’s steadfast support and constructive contribution to regional peace and stability. He also highlighted the deep-rooted fraternal ties between the two countries.
Field Marshal Munir reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to its relationship with Kuwait, saying both countries shared a common vision for regional peace and prosperity.
