The gold price jumped by Rs10,000 in Pakistan in line with their gain in the international market, it was reported on Wednesday.
In the local market, gold price per tola reached Rs437,936 after a gain of Rs10,000 during the day.
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs375,459 after it increased by Rs8,573, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Tuesday, gold price per tola reached Rs427,936 after a decline of Rs500 during the day.
The international rate of gold was up by $100 to reach $4,155 per ounce (with a premium of $20). Meanwhile, the price of silver increased by Rs273 to reach Rs6,624 per tola.
