ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan on Monday, with the two sides discussing matters of mutual interest.
According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, the discussion covered multilateral cooperation and the regional situation.
The two foreign ministers stressed the importance of maintaining close communication and coordination between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia at both the bilateral level and through multilateral forums.
The latest contact comes as Islamabad and Riyadh continue diplomatic engagement on regional developments and issues of shared interest.
