KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari held a series of meetings with senior officials, elected representatives and party leaders on Thursday, receiving briefings on development, administrative and political matters in Sindh.
Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab met with Bilawal and briefed him on progress on various public welfare and development projects underway in the provincial capital.
Former Sindh Assembly member Sheheryar Khan also called on the PPP chairman, accompanied by Jahangir Khan. The meeting included a discussion on the prevailing political situation in Ghotki.
Sindh Chief Secretary Asif Haider Shah separately met Bilawal and provided an overview of the province’s administrative affairs.
Sindh MPA Agha Shahbaz Durrani also met the PPP chairman and briefed him on public issues facing Shikarpur and measures being taken to address them.
Sindh Minister for Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Mukesh Kumar Chawla met Bilawal as well and briefed him on the performance of the departments under his portfolio.
PPP Shikarpur district president Abid Bhayo also called on Bilawal at Bilawal House. The meeting focused on the political and organisational situation in the district.
The meetings covered a range of development, governance and organisational matters across Sindh, with Bilawal receiving updates from officials, elected representatives and party leaders.
