The Ministry of Religious Affairs in Islamabad has activated the Hajj portal for applications under the labor quota for Hajj 2027, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
Applications from institutions and privately registered companies seeking to sponsor Hajj for their low-income employees at their own expense have started, according to the ministry.
The quota is available for low-income employees, industrial workers, miners, and other eligible laborers. Institutions and companies must submit their applications exclusively through the Hajj portal.
The applicant company or institution will be required to create an account on the portal and enter the details of the employees being sponsored. The ministry clarified that Hajj dues can only be deposited from the account of the respective company or institution.
Applications for the Hajj 2027 labor quota will be accepted until October 10 on a first-come, first-served basis.
