Hassan Nawaz says performance against India has boosted his confidence

Pakistan national cricket team’s aggressive batter Hasan Nawaz has said that playing on difficult pitches makes cricket feel easier adding that his performance against India has boosted his confidence.

Speaking to the media at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Hasan Nawaz said domestic cricket provides players with opportunities to play on challenging pitches. He believes that experience helps batsmen develop the skills and temperament required to perform under pressure.

Hasan also revealed that when he was dropped from the team Mike Hesson provided him with a plan to work on his game and make a comeback. The batter said the guidance helped him focus on improving his performance and returning to the national setup.

Discussing Pakistan’s recent match against India at the Asian Games Hasan Nawaz said he was disappointed that Pakistan could not win the game. He added that winning a gold medal at the Asian Games had been one of his ambitions.

Reflecting on his own performance Hasan admitted that he could not perform in Pakistan’s first match against India. However, he said his more recent performance against the arch-rivals has given him greater confidence.

The attacking batter stressed that players learn from their mistakes and that one poor performance should not be viewed as the end of the world.

“Cricket is about learning from mistakes,” Hasan said, emphasizing the importance of remaining positive after setbacks.

He added that Pakistan will face India again in the future giving him and the team further opportunities to improve and perform on the big stage.

Hasan’s comments reflect his determination to learn from past performances and build confidence as he continues his international cricket career.
