Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi met Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) chairman Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao at Sherpao House in Peshawar to discuss the province’s political situation, it was reported on Friday.
QWP provincial president Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao was also present at the meeting.
The leaders exchanged views on the need to improve security, address public concerns and accelerate development across the province.
They stressed the importance of continued consultation and cooperation to maintain peace and resolve issues faced by the people.
Governor Kundi said establishing lasting peace, addressing public problems and speeding up development were urgent priorities for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He urged all political forces to play a constructive role in promoting public welfare, maintaining peace and supporting the province’s development.
