ISLAMABAD: Increasing circular debt is increasing
problems and suffocating companies in oil and gas sector.
According to sources of industry, circular debt has increased to a
worrying level as only six major companies of the sector have to
receive Rs1557 billion.
Companies owes Rs357 billion to Sui Northern Gas, Rs348 billion to
OGDC, Rs278 billion to PPL, Rs259 billion to SSGC, Rs221 billion PSO
and Rs94 billion to K-Electric.
