Former Parliamentary Secretary for Minority and Human Rights, Sardar Mahinder Pall Singh, who is also the President of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s South Punjab Minority Wing, has congratulated the eight Sikh candidates, including four Sikh women, on their remarkable success in the recent British national elections.
In his congratulatory message, he remarked that the success of Sikhs in countries like the UK, the USA, and Canada reflects the teachings of the founder of the Sikh religion, Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj.
He appealed to the newly elected British Members of Parliament to raise their voices for the oppressed people of Kashmir and Palestine.
He emphasized that supporting the oppressed is a tradition deeply rooted in Sikhism, established through great sacrifice.
It is noteworthy that in the recent British elections, Tanmanjeet Singh, Gurinder Singh Josan, Warinder Juss, Jas Athwal, Preet Kaur Gill, Satvir Kaur, Harpreet Kaur Uppal, and Sonia Kaur Kumar achieved success representing the Labour Party.
