The ongoing tariff war between the US and China on a global scale has pushed the rates of gold in Pakistan and around the world through the roof.
On Saturday, the cost of 24-karat gold increased further to Rs340,600 per tola, after seeing a price rise of Rs1,800.
Dealers reported a similar hike in the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold, which has gone up by Rs1,543 to now trade at Rs292,009. Furthermore, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also reported a rise to trade at Rs267,684.
The price of 24-karat silver per tola is currently standing at Rs3,234 after seeing stability since last time. Internationally also, the gold price saw a rise of $18, reaching $3,236 per ounce.
