The schedule for the upcoming T20 International (T20I) tri-nation series involving Pakistan, Afghanistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been confirmed.
Sources divulged on Thursday that the series is due to commence on August 29 in the UAE. The tournament will feature seven matches and is expected to take place entirely at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
Following the conclusion of the series, the Pakistan squad are set to remain in the UAE to participate in the Asia Cup, which is scheduled for September.
The sources privy to the development said that the national selection committee would announce the squads for both the tri-nation series and the Asia Cup at the same time.
