Hania Aamir has shared a fresh glimpse of her tour of Dhaka, posting an Instagram video of a massive Sunsilk billboard welcoming her.
“Sunsilk Bangladesh you pookie,” she captioned the clip, instantly setting social media abuzz.
Since her arrival in Bangladesh, the Sardaarji 3 star has become the centre of attention, drawing extraordinary fanfare both on the ground and online.
Hania landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Thursday and immediately connected with local fans through a Facebook post written in Bengali.
“Assalamualaikum, Bangladesh, how are you?” she wrote, adding Pakistani and Bangladeshi flags. The post went viral within hours, with thousands praising her warm approach.
On Friday, she was spotted at Ahsan Manzil, the iconic Nawabbari palace in Dhaka. Unlike many visiting celebrities, Hania kept her appearance low-key, traveling without a heavy entourage, a move that resonated strongly with locals.
Reports said she was guided through the historic site by Namira Naeem, daughter of the celebrated 1990s film couple Naeem and Shabnaz, which added another layer of intrigue to her tour.
Her willingness to embrace Dhaka’s food culture has also become a talking point. Witnesses said she skipped hotel dining in favor of street delicacies like jhalmuri and phuchka, heavily spiced with naga peppers, Bangladesh’s famously fiery chili.
Observers noted that while many struggled with the heat, Hania ate with enthusiasm, earning further admiration.
A standout moment came during a public appearance where she surprised the crowd by speaking in Bangla. Wearing a black sequin outfit, she addressed the cheering audience with the words: “Rakin Tume Dekhte Shundor” (meaning “You look very beautiful”).
The video quickly spread across social media, sparking another wave of appreciation.
On Instagram, Hania has continued to share highlights from her trip, including photos in a traditional saree paired with her trademark dimpled smile. Fellow actress Yashma Gill and hundreds of fans flooded the comments section with supportive messages.
Her growing recognition in Bangladesh has been amplified by her Sunsilk campaign, which now features prominently on Dhaka billboards. The development comes as she recently celebrated nine years in show business, reflecting on her journey and achievements.
