The People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China has dispatched a major relief package for Pakistan’s flood victims, extending a strong gesture of solidarity in the country’s hour of need.
By sending emergency aid on an urgent basis, China has once again proven itself a trusted friend of Pakistan.
The consignment includes 12,000 special tents, 100 diesel generators, 50 water filter pumps, and 300 solar power systems. Medical camps have also been set up where patients are receiving free medicines.
At this difficult time, Pakistan’s neighbour and all-weather ally China has taken the lead in helping the flood-stricken population.
The aid package is being seen as a shining example of the long-standing friendship and solidarity between Pakistan and China.
Relief supplies from China are currently being distributed in the worst-affected regions.
It is worth mentioning that on September 12, 2025, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported that the US State Department also delivered flood relief aid for millions of people displaced by the devastating calamity.
In a statement shared on the US Embassy’s official X account, Acting US Ambassador to Pakistan Natalie Baker said, “Our hearts go out to the millions of Pakistanis whose lives have been uprooted by the devastating flooding across the country.
In addition to the supplies delivered last weekend by the US military, the US Department of State is delivering food, shelter, and other forms of lifesaving disaster relief to impacted communities across Pakistan. We stand with the people of Pakistan during this time of crisis.”
On the same day, 24NewsHD also reported that British High Commissioner Jane Marriott called on Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad.
On behalf of her government, she announced three million pounds in emergency aid along with additional humanitarian assistance. Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar expressed gratitude for Britain’s timely support and solidarity.
