Metropolitan Corporation Lahore (MCL) has created a history by allotting a palatial house to its influential computer operator Waqas Ahmed.
According to details, MCL has allotted a 4-canal house to a Grade-14 computer operator Waqas Ahmed in GOR-6 for flattering senior officials.
Waqas Ahmed is also accused of using the powers of the Lahore commissioner by accepting huge bribes from the sealed properties. It is also alleged that Waqas has hired private individuals, led by a man namely Ahmed, who have been conducting ‘seal’ and ‘de-seal’ operations in different areas without informing the officers.
At present, these people are active in Iqbal Town, Samanabad, Gulshan-e-Ravi, Sabzazar, Muslim Town, Gulberg Town, Shadbagh, Tajpura, and Bund Road areas.
This team is also fleecing people under the guise of operations of commissioner in violation of corona SOPs. People have demanded of the authorities concerned to take action against them.
