Salman secures title at K2 Squash PSA Challenger 15K Championship 2026

Top seed Salman Khalil clinched the title at the K2 Squash PSA Challenger 15K Championship 2026, presented by One World Squash, concluded at the K2 Squash Club, USA.

The Professional Squash Association (PSA) event attracted top-ranked players from across the globe, reinforcing the sport’s expanding international footprint and elevating its profile in North America.

In a gripping final, Salman Khalil defeated 8th seed Finnlay Withington, securing a straight-games victory (3–0). Khalil controlled the match from start to finish, winning 11–8, 11–8, 11–7 in just 36 minutes. With this title triumph, Khalil claimed the championship title along with a prize of $2,850, while Withington earned $1,800 as runner-up after an outstanding campaign throughout the tournament.

The closing ceremony was graced by distinguished guests, including Sunny Rao, Sudhir Naik, and Ali Rezvi, alongside Karamatullah (Kama) Khan and Tournament Director Muhammad Naveed Alam. The dignitaries presented trophies and awards to the finalists, bringing the successful championship to a celebratory close.

This internationally sanctioned PSA event was organised under the supervision of Muhammad Naveed Alam, an internationally recognised squash professional. His vision, expertise, and commitment were instrumental in staging a global sporting event of this caliber in the United States, further strengthening the country’s position within the international squash community.
