Pakistan launches ‘AI Seekho 2026’ programme

The Government of Pakistan has launched a countrywide up-skilling programme AI Seekho 2026.

The programme will connect participants with National Incubation Centers, Pakistan Startup Fund and global platforms, providing them with economic opportunities.

Minister for Information Technology Shaza Fatima said Pakistan has made artificial intelligence a central priority and has developed its first National AI Policy.

She said the government aims to train one million youth in AI, particularly including non-technical individuals.

The minister said that under AI Seekho, the Ministry of IT, with Google’s support, has set a target to upskill over one hundred thousand developers.
