The pre-Hajj flight operation from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia was in full swing as over 15,000 intending pilgrims have so far been flown to the Kingdom, it was reported on Saturday.
According to a spokesperson of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, over 15,000 intending pilgrims reached Madinah via 59 flights in the first seven days of the launch of the operation.
On Saturday, an additional 2,2000 Pakistani pilgrims will arrive in Madinah via eight flights.
The spokesperson said eighty officials from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, 50 from the Hajj Medical Mission, and 134 other civil staff have reached Saudi Arabia as Khuddam-ul-Hujjaj to provide various services to the pilgrims.
