Iran has issued a stern warning to the United States, stating that any other‘mistake’ would be met with a strong response.
According to details, Iranian official Mohammad Akbarzadeh said that the Iranian Navy remains fully prepared to deal with any possible situation. He stated that if any action is taken by the United States, the Iranian naval forces will make use of their advanced military capabilities.
He claimed that through smart targeting and other modern operations, major enemy naval vessels could be destroyed.
Akbarzadeh said that ships belonging to the ‘criminal regime’ would be targeted and rendered inoperable, and, if necessary, set on fire. He added that Iran would employ its full strength not only on the maritime front but also across other areas of resistance.
The statement comes at a time of rising tensions in the region, particularly around the Strait of Hormuz, a strategically important waterway for global oil shipments.
