Using workers for views, Fiza Ali faces criticism again

Pakistani actress and host Fiza Ali has once again come under social media scrutiny, this time over a special program aired on Labour Day that sparked mixed reactions online.

On May 1, Fiza Ali invited workers from different fields to her show to acknowledge their contributions. During the program, she was also seen holding a shovel and recording a video reel alongside labourers, conveying a message of appreciation for the working class.

While the initiative aimed to pay tribute to workers, many social media users criticized it as an attempt to gain attention. Critics argued that instead of treating labourers with dignity as regular guests, they were portrayed in a way that suggested the program was more focused on ratings and views.

One user commented that it would have been better to invite workers with respect rather than using them for social media content.

Another user sarcastically remarked that perhaps only Fiza Ali knows how to create such content effectively.

Several others expressed the view that if the intention was genuine recognition of workers, the presentation should have been more serious and respectful.

The video drew attention from fans as well, but also triggered strong criticism, leading to a fresh debate on social media over the manner in which the program was conducted.
