The number of Punjab Sports Board academies will be increased to 18, it was reported on Saturday.
According to details, 18 different sports academies will be operational in the first week of June 2026.
No charges will be collected from the players. More than 2000 boys and girls will get different sports training in these academies.
Director-General of Sports Tariq Qureshi said that players will be provided with free kits. He said that we are trying our test to prepare more players for the future.
He said that the best players will be encouraged and scholarships will be provided to them, and the Punjab Sports Board will ensure their well-being.
