PPP Azad Kashmir’s 17-member parliamentary board meets at Zardari House in Islamabad under the chair of Faryal Talpur to conduct interviews of the candidates.
The candidates of Ponch and Mirpur Divisions have reached Zardari House. The Parliamentary Board will conduct interviews of candidates from 33 constituencies of Azad Kashmir and 12 constituencies of Muhajireen. Separate timings have been fixed for candidates from Mirpur, Poonch, Muzaffarabad divisions and Muhajireen.
PPP parliamentary board will formulate final recommendations regarding party tickets after the interviews of the candidates and the recommendations of the parliamentary board will be sent to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for final approval.
After Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s approval, party tickets will be issued to the candidates for the Azad Kashmir elections 2026.
PPP AJK parliamentary board includes Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari, Muhammad Humayun Khan, Chaudhry Muhammad Yasin, Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, and Chaudhry Latif Akbar.
Other members of the board include Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan, Mian Abdul Waheed, Sardar Qamar-uz-Zaman, Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, Chaudhry Pervaiz Ashraf, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Makhdoom Syed Ahmed Mehmood, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Sardar Muhammad Umar, Syed Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha, and Chaudhry Riaz.
Today’s meeting at Zardari House, Islamabad, was being described as a major development in the election phase of the PPP Azad Kashmir.
