The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has ended 100 percent work-from-home facility on Fridays, it was reported on Tuesday.
Administration Department issued a circular to end Friday leave from office.
The notification dated March 17, 2026 regarding work-from-home has been withdrawn with immediate effect.
According to the circular, Friday will be a regular official working day from now on.
All government employees will attend offices on Friday and perform duties.
The decision was taken in light of the instructions of the 54th meeting of the provincial cabinet.
The KP Chief Secretary has directed all the departments to implement the decision immediately.
