CM Maryam says minorities in Punjab have complete protection

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that the National Peace Message Committee is playing a pivotal role in establishing peace across the country.

Addresses members of the Peace Message Committee in Lahore on Friday, Maryam Nawaz said minorities in Punjab have complete protection.

All institutions in Punjab are working hard in this regard, Maryam Nawaz said.

She said the provincial cabinet, administration and IG Punjab are working hard to establish peace.

Maryam Nawaz said the role of the National Peace Message Committee in interfaith harmony is commendable.

Pakistan is facing two types of enemies,  one enemy is external who is visible and the other enemy is invisible, Maryam Nawaz said.

Maryam Nawaz said she used to take immediate notice of the incidents of rape of children and women.

She said the crime rate in Punjab has come down considerably

Chief Minister said the message of reform should be sent from the pulpit, Maryam Nawaz said.

She said success in the Marka-e-Haq is the crown jewel of Pakistan.

Maryam Nawaz said terrorists are trying to destabilize the society.

Maryam Nawaz said resolving social problems is the collective responsibility of the people.

Citizens should avoid communal riots and spreading hateful content on social media, Maryam Nawaz advised.

It necessary to promote a culture of religious tolerance in the society, Maryam Nawaz said.

She said there is an urgent need for the guidance of ulema to reform the society.
