Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said demanded that all stakeholders should join hands for bringing peace and prosperity in Balochistan, adding that elected representatives can resolve these issues democratically.
Addressing the Save Balochistan All Parties Conference in Quetta, Barrister Gohar condemned recent wave of terrorism and said that restoration of law and order was need of the hour not only for Balochistan but for Pakistan.
He urged all political forces to unite against terrorism as terrorists have no religion.
Talking about overall situation, Gohar called for accountability to improve the country’s situation and demanded progress on the issue of missing persons and urged the state to treat weaker segments of society fairly like Nobel Laurauate South African President Nelson Mendela.
He claimed PTI was denied Senate representation in Balochistan despite winning elections. Concluding his address, Barrister Gohar said PTI had always stood with the state on national security issues and would continue to support efforts to restore peace and stability in Balochistan.
