LAHORE: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited Mansoorah in Lahore, where he met Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman to discuss the country’s overall political and security situation, regional developments and issues affecting the public.
Acting Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Nazir Ahmed Janjua and Information Secretary Shakeel Ahmed Turabi were also present during the meeting. The participants held detailed discussions on matters of national importance and ways to address challenges faced by the people.
During the meeting, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said tensions in the region had eased once again due to the continued efforts of the Field Marshal.
Mohsin Naqvi also expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Ameer-ul-Azeem. He offered Fateha for the deceased and prayed for the elevation of his ranks, as well as patience and strength for the bereaved family, the party leadership and its workers.
