A police sub-inspector and a head constable embraced martyrdom when unidentified terrorists opened fire on them in Dera Ismail Khan on Friday.
The incident took place in the jurisdiction of Chaduwan Police Station in Dera Ismail Khan.
Regional Police Officer (RPO) Dera Ismail Khan Mubashir Makan said that when the police started retaliatory firing, all the terrorists escaped from the scene.
Soon after receiving the report, police and the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) teams rushed to the spot and started a search operation. Police collected all the evidence from the crime scene.
