The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders have kickstarted efforts aimed at paving way to form a government in Azad Kashmir with focus laid on the prime seat – the new AJK prime minster, it was reported on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the PML-N has also decided not to include those PML-N leaders in the new AJK cabinet who have won elections on refugee seats.
PML-N President Nawaz Sharif has elaborated the party’s policy regarding government formation – a compact cabinet will be maintained, and senior, experienced, and newly elected MLAs will be included.
The PML-N candidates have advised that inclusion of MLAs elected from the refugee constituencies in the cabinet will multiply the financial burden on the state exchequer.
A decision in principle has been taken to include the party’s senior and experienced newly elected MLAs in the cabinet.
