The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the panel of match officials for the National Champions Cup, which will be held at Multan Cricket Stadium from 11 to 18 August.
The tournament will feature seven List A matches, with each fixture scheduled to begin at 3pm.
The PCB has appointed two match referees and eight umpires to oversee the competition. Former Test cricketer Ali Naqvi and Kamran Chaudhry will serve as match referees throughout the tournament.
Both officials are members of the International Cricket Council’s International Panel of Match Referees.
The umpiring panel includes ICC International Panel umpire Asif Yaqoob, along with Faisal Afridi, Nasir Hussain and Rashid Riaz Waqar, who will officiate during the tournament.
The remaining umpires appointed for the competition are Abdul Muqeet, a member of the PCB International Panel, as well as Syed Imtiaz Iqbal, Tariq Rashid and Zulfiqar Jan.
The PCB said the experienced panel of officials will supervise all matches during the week-long tournament as domestic teams compete for the National Champions Cup title.
