Pakistan’s trade surplus with the United States of America (USA) reached $2.59 billion during fiscal year 2025-25, it was reported on Monday.
Sources said that Pakistan’s exports to the United States stood at $5.91 billion in the fiscal year 2025-26.
During this period, Pakistan imported goods worth $3.32 billion from the United States. Pakistan’s overall trade surplus with the United States has exceeded $17 billion over the past five years.
Sources further revealed that total Pakistani exports to the US over the past five years stood at $29.15 billion.
Total Pakistani imports from the US over the five years amounted to $12.12 billion, sources said.
Pakistan’s trade surplus with the US for the 2024-25 fiscal year was $4.09 billion. Pakistani exports to the US in the 2024-25 fiscal year totaled $5.84 billion, sources stated.
Pakistan’s trade surplus with the US in the 2023-24 fiscal year stood at $4.02 billion, sources said.
The volume of Pakistani exports to the US in the 2023-24 fiscal year was $5.29 billion. Pakistan imported goods worth $1.26 billion from the US in 2023-24.
Pakistan’s trade surplus with the US in the 2022-23 fiscal year was $3.25 billion. Pakistani exports to the US in 2022-23 amounted to $5.285 billion.
Pakistan imported goods worth $2.033 billion from the US in 2022-23. Pakistan’s trade surplus with the US in the 2021-22 fiscal year was $3.07 billion, sources said.
The volume of Pakistani exports to the US in 2021-22 was $6.83 billion, sources said. The volume of Pakistani imports from the US in the 2021-22 fiscal year was $3.76 billion.
