The Capital Development Authority’s (CDA) Design Waiting Committee reviewed 42 projects and granted approval to 37 commercial projects in the federal capital, it was reported on Monday.
According to details, the Capital Development Authority held seven meetings to give its approval to the 42 projects.
The committee said that five projects are still under review. The total covered area of approved projects is 66,90,580 square feet.
After approval, 721 new commercial projects will be completed in Islamabad, which include 1981 residential flats.
Approved projects include commercial, apartment, and mixed-use buildings. The CDA also approved the construction of five mosques and a school building. The CDA approved in accordance with the ICT Building Control Regulations 2023.
