ISLAMABAD: Banks and financial institutions across Pakistan will remain closed for three days this week, from August 14 to August 16, according to a circular issued by the State Bank of Pakistan.
According to the State Bank circular, the State Bank, stock exchange and banks will remain closed on the occasion of Independence Day. Friday, August 14, will be observed as a public holiday, while Saturday and Sunday will be the regular weekly holidays.
The State Bank said ATMs and online services of banks and financial institutions will remain operational during the three-day closure.
