MUZAFFARABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a meeting with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Azad Kashmir President Shah Ghulam Qadir in Islamabad to discuss matters related to government formation in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
The two leaders discussed the prevailing political situation in AJK, PML-N’s performance in the recent general elections, development initiatives, resolution of public issues and other matters of mutual interest.
Shah Ghulam Qadir briefed Ishaq Dar on PML-N’s electoral performance and success in the recent AJK elections, saying the victory reflected public confidence in the party’s leadership and policies.
Ishaq Dar appreciated PML-N’s electoral performance under Shah Ghulam Qadir’s leadership in AJK, saying the party’s success was an expression of the people’s trust.
The meeting also discussed measures to accelerate the development process in AJK and address issues faced by the people.
Shah Ghulam Qadir also presented the needs and development priorities of AJK residents to the deputy prime minister.
He said PML-N would play its full role in serving the people of AJK and promoting development across the region.
Shah Ghulam Qadir said the party’s electoral success was supported by Punjab’s development model, while the people of AJK had also expressed confidence in the leadership of Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz Sharif by voting for PML-N candidates.
