Four more cases of dengue confirmed in Faisalabad

Dengue virus was confirmed in four more patients who were under treatment in Allied Hospital One in Faisalabad, it was reported on Tuesday.

Out of four, three female patients belonged to the same family and are residents of Railway Colony in Faisalabad.

The fourth patient is a resident of Batala Colony, Faisalabad. The total number of dengue patients in Allied Hospital One reached 17.

Earlier on August 5, 2026, Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhry said that no negligence will be tolerated in anti-dengue measures during the current monsoon season, given the increased risk of dengue larvae breeding.

He emphasized that the directives issued by the Government of Punjab must be implemented in letter and spirit under all circumstances.
