The NCCIA has decided to reissue notices to actress Momina Iqbal and Saqib Chadhar after the investigation into their legal dispute failed to make further progress, it was reported on Wednesday.
According to sources, a case was registered at the NCCIA on Momina Iqbal’s application, but its investigation could not move forward as both Momina and Saqib have yet to submit their responses to questionnaires issued by the investigation team.
The NCCIA had formed a new investigation team to restart the probe into the case. An officer of deputy director rank was appointed to head the team.
The investigation team subsequently issued questionnaires to both Momina Iqbal and Saqib Chadhar and directed them to submit their responses as part of the investigation.
However, neither side has submitted the required answers so far, resulting in a delay in the investigation.
The NCCIA has now decided to issue fresh notices to both parties, directing them to join the investigation and submit their responses to the questionnaires.
