Actor and producer Hareem Farooq faced an unexpected wardrobe emergency just two hours before the premiere of her film Mango Jutt, turning the much-anticipated event into a night of last-minute decisions and unexpected surprises.
Farooq shared the experience in an Instagram post on Sunday, revealing that she had spent an entire week preparing for the premiere. From selecting her outfit and jewellery to arranging makeup and photography, every detail had been carefully planned.
However, the preparations took an unexpected turn when a problem with her outfit left her unable to wear it just two hours before the event.
“We’d spent a week planning every detail,” Farooq wrote, explaining that everything had been ready until the outfit issue disrupted her plans. With no backup option available, the situation quickly became stressful as the team rushed to find a solution.
Despite the last-minute pressure, the actor found a positive lesson in the experience. She reflected on the importance of accepting unexpected changes, saying that when things do not go according to one’s plans, they may be unfolding according to God’s plan.
Farooq said her team worked together amid the confusion, eventually putting together a look that received appreciation from fans and attendees. She managed to reach the premiere on time in a traditional outfit, describing the final result as one of her favourite looks.
The actor also expressed gratitude to her glam team for their efforts in making the evening memorable. She thanked everyone who attended the premiere and supported the film.
Mango Jutt, which features Farooq alongside Faysal Quraishi, also stars Shamoon Abbasi, Ayesha Jehanzeb and Qaiser Piya. The film is currently showing in cinemas across Pakistan.
